Ok, doing this engine build and looking at main and rod bearings. Clevite or Sealed Power. The Sealed Power I can get locally, $120 and $130 for both sets, two different parts stores. The Clevite ones I can get shipped from Summit racing, $160.00 shipped. Does it really matter what brand name or is one better than the other. I do have cam bearings from Clevite
And how about pistons, Sealed Power? I can get those locally also.
Thanks for thoughts

same seller (falconglobal) on eBay has Sealed Power hyper-eutectic pistons for roughly $115 (plus free shipping) for a set of 6. Saves almost $70 over Summit Racing's price. I actually might consider these over the much more expensive KB944's.

Re: bearings and pistons
thanks 604rail_king, I checked out his ebay store last night and plan on using him for bearings, pistons, amd rings. All I need for the engine then is rebuild the oil pump, get lifters from NAPA, and get the ford #24 injectors. Was looking at maybe a ford mustang throttle body, there at 65mm stock I beleve.

Re: bearings and pistons
falcon has both regular and high volume melling oil pumps on their site. also youll need 4.2L rods to paid up with the stock 4:0 pistons... i have 2 sets for sale currently if you are in need of a set.
24# ford injectors will work for 91-96 4.0's as they have a lower factory fuel pressure. if you are 96+, then other injectors will be required as the stock fuel pressure is higher and cause you to run rich.
from also using the search function on the site, youll find the 65mm mustang body is not a direct bolt on.

Re: bearings and pistons
I saw their pumps but feel I can rebuild this one one just fine. When I was at the Ohio summit store last year I should have picked up that HV oul pump for $40.00, just didn't really know if I was going to go stroker or not then.
I have all the parts at the machine shop right now. I saw that the tb is not direct bolt but will do my homework on that later. Right now I need to work on adding hydroboost brakes, so the intake clears and a speedo cable mod so I can run a speed sensor with both cable and electrical.
