just installed stroker computer learning?
Just installed 4.6 rockcrawler copied stroker in my 95 yj, installed the 24# injectors, switched everything over and she fired right up and idled beautifully! Checked for leaks and took her for a spin. Well tried to when about 100 feet and she started skipping a bit came back double checked everything and went back out. Ran good but would occasionally act like a miss. Long story short drove itabout 10 miles or so. It ran better the longer I drove it. So my question is does the computer on an obd1 take a little while to learn the new motor. I did notice 2 things, check engine light did come on and the temp gauge not working, and. Check engine light was on. Did not have time to check codes, so does the computer have a breaking period like I've heard or is that a rumor. Thanks

There will be a learning period, but it shouldn't cause the problems you describe. Pull the codes. Did you break the cam in properly?
