Fuel Pressure OBD1 and 24 lbers

Post by jsawduste »

Acknowledging this to be a question with a wide variance of answers. Engine spec`s, fuel mixture, climate, elevation and so on.

Just looking for a a comparison to what others are running.

Currently running 24 lb. injectors. Were set @ 43 psi. Decent performance although knowingly a little rich.

Dailed it down to 41 lbs and the engine seems a little "crisper" then before.

4.9 (.080 over) with the newer style intake and 63mm TB. Hesco 280/470 +4 degrees.

What fuel pressure are you running with 24 lbers ?

Stock computer, Ford 24lb injectors, and stock fuel pressure (40psi in mine) but with MAP adjuster set at 5.3v. Goes like a raped ape yet gas mileage better than my old 4.0.
