Clearwater Cylinder Head
Question for the moment: I have just received a new casting from Clearwater Cylinder Head. It is .. supposedly... the same casting as Alabaama Cylinder Head sells. It is a rather course casting with not impressive chamber shapes and eratic sizing. Three chambers are on the verge of overhanging the head gasket out of the box. A good bit of work to be done on the chambers and ports. Does anyone know how much the spring seats can be cut for bigger/ taller valve springs on these heads?

Re: Clearwater Cylinder Head
I'd get in touch with the manufacturer on that.
What do those heads go for and what is the advantage thry have over a stock 7120 casting?

Re: Clearwater Cylinder Head
The Bare Head was $350 plus freight with no core. The head is an aftermarket reproduction of the '99-'05 "0331" head, supposedly with extra metal to eliminate the crack prone nature of the early OEM pre "TUPY" heads.
