hi guys,
i hate to sound like such a newbie but i am in way over my head and i havent even gotten started yet! i have a 93' yj with the 4.0, it has 160k on it. i looked in to things to do motor wise and found the 4.7 to be the most interesting, and now i am terrified. i bought a titain engines stroker kit with kb forged pistions, 4.0 con rods, comp cam, mls gasget kit, hv oil pump, alum head, ect. along with banks header, banks exhaust, south beach 26lb injectors, msd 6AL ignition box with rev limiter and blaster coil, msd wires, preformance disteributer cap and rotor, centerforce 2 clutch, bbk 62mm throttle body, an electic fan, and a few other things. so now i have a few questions, 1 do i need a chip and if so what one is the most recomended, and if so will a dyno tune need to be done? 2. are there any parts i am missing to start the project? 3 i have heard that the comp cams need to be cut down slightly bc they are to long and dont float right. is that true? 4 should i have the block dect to 0 or over?
sorry if i am going over thing you all have already coverd i am just worried i am going to screw it up.
thanks
Glenn
