help please 4.6 runnig bad no money :(

hi im new in this site and i think is awsome ,i need big help with my 91 cherokee,i bought and 4.0 block with a 258 crank,258 rods and stock std pistons ,i did put eb=verything together with all the new parts but my jeep is running like a dead 4 cyl,now becasu i live at the beach does that means i need to use better fuel??? :brickwall:

i have stock injectors,the timimng is in good position,new crank sensor,replaced the computer,all the sensors are new but the o2,what do i need to do to get it right :huh: <thanks in advance for your help

im thinking to upgrade my injectors to ford#24,i just put a new fuel pump and i will change my fuel preassure regulator how do i know if i have to do something to my map sensor? :?: anyone please!!!!!

24lb injectors is a good start. Did you degree you cam? You cam could be off a tooth.

How about you tell us the actual problem, type clearly, tell us the details of your engine and vehicle, and what you have done to try to fix it.

guess what it was the distribuitor ,i wasnt 3cm from the bottom of the mark it was like almost 2 cm. i did check it like 3 times but i guess i was so worried about that i didnt see the problem, :doh: :doh: thanks a lot for your help :banana: my cherokee with 35"tires runs like a champ :cheers: but know do i need to change the injectors to #24 anyway?? and if i do that am i going to have problems whit the o2 sensor or the map sensor or anything else???? i live at the beach so i am at sea level,the jeep is runnung beautiful so i dont want to mess it up you know :smack: but any way thanks a lot for your help again!!!!!! i will post pic as soon i can clean my jeep hehehehe!!!!!!! :wiggle:

Check your plugs. If they're white you'll need bigger injectors.

That most likely won't tell him anything unless he does a WOT run then immediately shuts if off and pulls the plugs.

hey guys for some reasons the computer on my 91 jeep cherokee stoped working the jeep wont start,so i went to my friend shop and tried the one he had for testing and started rigth away so i guess mine is broken ,how do i know what tipe of computer i can buy like in ebay or amazon,is it a specific number that i need to look for,my jeep is a 91 cherokee limited with a automatic transmition>>>>> thank again for all your help and by the way SILVER how do i do a WOT test to find out if i need bigger injectors????
