Buy custom pistons

Post by montelibre »

After waiting in a local dealer several months for a set custom pistons with CR about 8.6 to 1, for my 4.6 Supercharger Jeep, the pistons brings me are a IC-944 (CR high for me, about 9.3 to 1). :brickwall:
I would buy myself, what shop do you recommended for customs pistons? (must be sent to Spain).
Thanks.

so pistons with ~22cc dishes aren't cutting it. My brother bought 34cc dish Ross forged pistons from 505 Performance(we calculated 8.75:1 scr pre-boost). Ross and Diamond are good forged pistons. Expect to pay $100+ per custom piston.

Other brands to check with for custom pistons are:
JE
Diamond
Arias
Weisco

International shipping typically is not an issue for most companies, it will just cost more for shipping.

Hesco has some nice turbo pistons, price may be a little high, but you will be happy.

I went with Bulltear pistons, I made the request last week. They have good prices.
I hope they are of good quality.
Does anyone of the forum has purchased Bulltear custom pistons?
