Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I don't think the stock iron single could handle the on/off throttle transitions(pull/push)when in gear with a manual tranny.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
Not yet
. They told me on Thursday before noon that JP found the right timing chain(maybe after I reiterated for the 4th X that the Rollmaster CS7100 and JP5629 were for the same application) and sent it out from Mississippi. The last time they sent it out on Thursday it arrived on Tuesday. UPS rolls through in an hour or so, so hopefully it shows up. One good thing is I got them to refund me the $33 difference from the autopart site that Chris listed(thanks!). It hasn't showed up yet, but you know how that goes: banks quick to take out but slow to put in/show up, so they can earn that interest)I have a date with the dyno on Sat(2 pulls for $40, 3 for $50)this weekend with a bunch of friends: 2 mr2s w/ camry 3.0 swaps(I spent 15 hours porting and polishing the heads, intake, and exhaust manis on one of them so want to see it beat the other by a good margin, lol), modded sti, suped mustang, my m3, other cars, and hopefully my XJ. The first autoX is next Sat in Waldorf so all of us are getting our last minute mods in--I swapped the 3.15lsd for a custom 3.73lsd the other week and have some new Dunlop Star Specs to get mounted. Anyhow, I miss my DD and hate driving the m3 on the cruddy roads in DC. Time to pay attention to the ACM v TOT game, lol.

Cross your fingers and I'll try to post some dyno #s this weekend.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I'm thinking ~240whp&220wtq for the m3(stock was 240hp& 225lb-ft@crank) and ~230whp&280wtq for the XJ. I think my Jeep can beat the m3 to 90mph, maybe even the 1/4(mid 13s ~105). So far the mods I've done to the m3 are: euro intake, 540 maf(3.5"vs3.0" stock) smooth 3.5"-3" elbow, Jeff-Leigh-bored tb from 64-68.5mm, 24# injectors, TRM chip that accounts for the bigger maf and 24# injectors, raises redline from 6500-7000, removes governor from 137mph to 161mph, ditched the cast manifolds for SS long tubes, ditched the small restrictive midsection for a Supersprint race resonator, Corsa/UUC rsc36 cat-back(sounds amazing), ditched the 3.15lsd for a 3.73lsd(funny enough, the top speed is back to 137mph@7K in 5th, which is 1:1). short shifter from Z3M, new brembo blanks with axxis ultimate ceramic pads, the Dunlops, and more to come. The car has soul like the Jeep does, but if I have to get rid of one, it'll be the m, cause the Jeep has more of my DNA in/on it, and is truly an altered beast. I've wanted the M3 since I sat in one at the 94-95 car show at the DC Convention Center when I was a senior in H.S. Some of you can relate to cars that pick their owners--Jeep and BMW are mine. Anyhow, I see you're gonna go with the PSC-1. It'll be interesting to see how my tune works with the new timing set, cause when I loaded up my old tune when I got the unit back from SplitSec, it wasn't running good at all. The dyno run will probably be ran without it, but I'll use the LM-2 to datalog the AFRs.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
only 161? My PCM on the XJ goes to 245. LOLgradon wrote: removes governor from 137mph to 161mph,
I've heard of Corsa and wish they made a system for Jeeps... i may see if I can get a muffler to replace the Gibson from them.Corsa/UUC rsc36 cat-back(sounds amazing),
My Jag XJ12 was the same way. My first car and I loved the way it drove. Need to restore it eventually. Jeeps were the same way. My mom had a 91 Xj limited. I hated it until I started driving it on a regular basis. Ended up buying it from her and loving it. I just wish it wasn't totaled. Had 200,000 miles on it and it was in perfect condition and hauled ass. I don't really like white but the pre 97 Limited in White is still an eye catcher for me. I saw one a week ago here and I did a double take on it. The vehicle started me on Jeeps.. however it has been down hill from there.Some of you can relate to cars that pick their owners--Jeep and BMW are mine.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
Corsa makes them for the SRT8 and the JK(db series). I'm sure you can find a 2.5" app that'll fit(summit sells them)--it'll cost ~$300 just for the muffler, but it'll be the best engineered muffler out there and will sound great w/ the inline 6. The m3 system usually sells for $900, but I picked it up for $680 shipped--it is the way the M was meant to sound.

Dang it Chris, now you've put something else on my list
(but really
)
lower price and free shipping here: http://www.lmperformance.com/69781/89.html
I'd buy that any day over a magnaflow, gibson, flowmaster, and $200 more expensive Borla cat-backs(although I loved mine before I blew it up).
Summit, Jegs, Quadratec, and more carry it. The JK and TJ ones haven't even been out for a year yet: http://www.off-road.com/jeep/news/corsa ... 52454.html
Made in the USA too+++

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
Not a bad price for that. A bit more than what I paid for the Gibson SS exhaust I am running, but mine was also slightly used. It sounds okay, but not what I think it should sound like. Can't find just their mufflers though.gradon wrote:edit: for 97-99 TJs: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CSE-24414/
