I got mine on eBay from hd_mad_dog for $135.81 shipped. You can also check streetsideauto.com for other stuff, they had the best price for my cam. You can always find a coupon for streetsideauto.com too, they will either post it on their page (it's a gift card promotion today) or Google for one.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
Thanks. So far I've found it for $130 shipped in both the Mopar and Cloyes flavors. I'll order it tomorrow and let everyone know where I found it for the best price.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
rollmaster and jp performance double rollers are nice. Both gears are billet steel, and the crank gear has 9 keyways for cam adjustment(-8,-6,-4,-2,0,+2,+4,+6,+8). Check Ebay.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I like that both the gears are billet(the mopar and cloyes have a billet crank gear, but an iron cam gear), but I don't like all the keyway gaps that the crank sprocket has: less material in contact with the crank snout and I'm running my mopar cam straight up, so don't need 9 options.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
Came home to find the expected package waiting. Opened it up. Hmph, not the Rollmaster CS7100 I ordered, but a JP Performance JP5613 for the Chrysler 225 slant-6 and a packing slip from JP's office in MS to hdmaddog's warehouse in FL. My response was "if you're gonna swap boxes on me, at least send me the right one: JP5629." Guess the plans for the rest of the week have to change(do have a 3.73 lsd for the m3 arriving tomorrow. . .)

What sucks is hdmaddog has not responded via ebay or email yet. I've bought pistons from them in the past and had them delivered elsewhere without issues.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
. . .they still haven't addressed the error and I've sent two "item received is not as described" via ebay and 3 emails. They have good prices but obviously their customer service is $#!+. The only good thing about this delay is that I was able to swap in a 3.73 lsd in place of the 3.15 lsd in the m3(traded 139-162mph for acceleration--autoX is gonna be a lil more fun this year).

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I think so, since I've been told that JP Performance and Rollmaster are owned by the same co., and the JP box I have says made in Australia. Hdmaddog responded yesterday saying they put in two orders to JP at the same time and that JP accidentally switched them, so they're trying to track down the other package, rather than have JP send me another one asap, so might as well expect this error to take 2-weeks total to fix. What a joke.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I ended up using a engine pro double roller for $90 iirc the cam sprocket is billet and the crank gear is steel. Are billet gears nesseserry? Whats the advantage in a 250-350 hp 6 cyl? Maybe a blower motor? Ive built lots of motors mostly chevy small and big blocks.ive built 600 hp small blocks with double roller chains, drag raced them for several seasons and never once seen a timing gear break.is it a "jeep" thing i dont understand? Thanks for any answers, im new to the jeep stuff, just built my first stroker and love it so far, "340" miles.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I like the rollmaster and jp performance timing chain sets... 1) the billet cam gear is lighter than a cast gear. 2) The 9 keyways on the crank gear can help get the cam dailed in if it's needed. On the last 2 engines I built I used a rollmaster and a jp performance. If I remember, I used the -2 slot to dail the cam in on my stroker. If I used a cloyes I would have had to use either the 0 or -4, wich would have been too far in either direction. 3) They are cheaper than a cloyes.

Re: Where to get Cloyes Dual Roller
I used the JP timing set because i wanted a double roller and adjustability. Plus it look nice. I have seen about 3 failures of single rollers on strokers so far.
