Transmission ?s

Post by battleship »

I know that this is not directly stroker related but I am looking at an older cj7 this weekend that will eventually have a stroker installed, It has a T5 in it now "light duty tranny" was wondering what you guys are backing your strokers with will at t5 hold up to the power of a 4.7 ? I know That there is more to it wheels ,tires, gearing, etc but will it hold up at least for a while? Or should I consider replacing That before even dealing with a stroker?

I would go ahead and run it since you have it. Just be sure to research what options you have and where you can get them(I'm in the ax15 for life club).
