Re: A/C HEATER Control SWITCH NOT WORKING ?
it's either the switch or the blower motor resistor. (we know the fan works)
first things first make sure the resistor pack is plugged in (see pic #2 in first link)
My 94 XJ had the switch melt on it, my 88 and 90 xjs did not.
Anecdotal evidence points to Chrysler using cheaper parts ofter the take over.
For the melted switch I cleaned it up and used it to trigger a bank of 4 relays taking the 15+Amp load off of an already marginal switch.
I did this (not my writeup but useful)

For info on he resistor. (still not my writeup)

I think its probably your switch. When the resistor goes it only works on high speed (had it happen 2x)

Re: A/C HEATER Control SWITCH NOT WORKING ?
Will finally got the A/C heater switch on looks like that was it. It seem to be working fine, know the old switch connection harness was "bake" on the connection. I had to clean it up a bit with a wire brush and some electric cleaner form radio shack.
