I've still got less than 500 miles on it so should I not worry about this right until I break it in more? Under heavy throttle conditions, open loop, I get a lambda of about 0.70 - 0.75. In closed loop I get a lambda of 0.99, close enough to one for me. I've got 36lb injectors but I'm running E85 with an AFR of 9.7:1. I haven't put on my Ford 5.0 throttle body or hooked up my final intake, so I hope that will let more air in and lean it out a little more then I'll tune it properly. Would advancing my timing my adjusting my CPS help it? I would think it would because there would be more time for the fuel to burn.
A couple more questions:
What does pinging sound like? I only heard it in the lab on a one cylinder test engine in my ICE class in college, and even then it was hard to hear. I just want to make sure that I'm not destroying my engine.
Is a clicking noise normal at idle with the hood open? Are roller rockers inherently noisy? I don't know the best way to describe it, but I don't hear the clicking while driving, I just hear the loud exhaust. It's a rapid clicking noise coming from the top of the motor, which leads me to think that it's the RR.

Re: New E85 Stroker is Running Rich
well, E85 needs 25-30% more fuel than E0 or E10 fuel.
starting from 23/25/27 lb injectors, the MAX you would need to go would be 30-33 lb. 36 might just be too much....
Maybe start by dropping the fuel pressure until your Short term and long term fuel adaptives are close to 0% ... see what happens at wot?

Pinging sounds similar to golf balls or marbles rattling around in a can. Very tinny sounding. Roller rockers will make a sound. The ticking you hear could be the rockers. It depends how loud and how many you think you hear.

Pinging on my Jeep sounded like a metallic ticking/clacking. I never heard the marble in a can noise. It sounded like an adjustable valve train that was too loose. Like it was beating the valves out of the head.

Re: New E85 Stroker is Running Rich
Just thinking here, would a pinging engine likely run rich? I would think not because there would be more time to burn the air/fuel mixture.
I went with 36lb because I knew that E85 would require more fuel and that many strokers have problems running lean. It looks like I went too far and will have to adjust. I did purchase a new PSC-1 from another JS member (good deal) so I will have to install that then start tuning.
I checked the codes, I've got a Code 14 meaning that something is wrong with my MAP?
