Re: 3 Angle Vavle job verse 5 Angle?
Two angles.
The standard 3 angle seat has the 45* seat with a 30* top and a 60* bottom, a five angle ads a 15* on top of the 30* and a 70* under the 60*, the valves themselves may have multiple angles cut on them also.
A 5 angle valve seat is unnecessary until about 7000 RPM's .

You can get more power out of ANY engine!!!

IH392, Ok thanks makes sense; Yeah I was Looking at the Titan Monster 4.9 And I notice that it said that on the Cyl.Head they did 5 Angle Vavle job I was very curious about that......does that typically make more hp went you go with a 5 angle verse a 3 Angle.

LOL....Don't worry I Don't plan to buy one, I like the Idea of building my own "stroker" (Mainly because I know what I put into it) Hopefully in the near future I will get the chance to built mine. But there claim's are interesting to say the least, I was just curious about the 5 angle valve job, it made me wounder if that was a big factor in helping them reach there 315 hp claim.
