No damage to the push rods, rockers, or valve stems?

Didn't see any at all! Cleaned the slightly toasty assembly lube off of them and found no pits, cracks, bends or any material removed at all. A few had slightly shiny spots where the fulcrums contacted the rockers but there was no material removed that my finger nail could catch on. I coated them all with obscene amounts of Torco MPZ and filled the rocker dishes with it. Started it up and the valve-train is super quiet. Quieter than I've even had it with the titan or when I started driving it with a 4.0 w/ 97,000 miles.

Yeah thanks! It runs great as long as you either keep it under 2000rpm or floor it lolSilverXJ wrote:Looks like you got lucky! Glad it is running sort of well.
