I am in the middle of a 4.7 build and need to address the fuel injecton. I have done the math and have figured that I need 32lb injectors. I am under the assumption that I can fine tune the a/f ratio with a fuel regulator. The question I have is does the impeadance of the new injector have to match the impeadance of the old (15 ohms)? And also, is the injector length important to match also?

Re: Newbie with a fuel injectoin question
32lb injectors are way too big. If your Jeep is an OBD I HO model ('91-'95), you'll need Accel 26lb injectors.

Re: Newbie with a fuel injectoin question
Hey Dr. Dino, I recognized you from your green XJ..
I got bad news: the 24# FRPP injectors I got are EV1 (Bosch, square) but my harness is EV6 (USCAR, oval)
The seller doesn't return, but offered to sell wireless adapters. Ford Racing FMS-M-14464-U2J sold for $43 at Summit for a set of 8
I think The correct Bosch part # is 0 280 155 865 for EV6 24 lbs/hr @ 43.5psi injectors. That is Ford Racing XR3E-C5B, actually there are other part numbers: XR3E-C5A and XR3Z-9F593-CB so I'm confused.
Ford Racing also makes M-9593-LU24 that is flows at 24# @ 39.15psi, high impedence (11-18 ohms). This means it would flow at 25# at 43.5 psi, and the price for a new set of 8 is $180. I have no idea if it's also pintle type or what.. do you think it's good?
