Hey everybody,
So, I'm building a 4.6 stroker with a high volume oil pump (GASP)
and a Comp 231 cam. Do I need to invest in a double roller timing chain or will the single that came with my rebuild kit be good enough?
Thanks
Dean

If it were me I'd do it for piece of mind if nothing else.

Unless you're planning to rev the engine above 5300rpm frequently, the single chain will do fine. They last 200+k miles on stock 4.0's.
