Quick Question. Is it possible?
Would it be possible to just use the 4.2 short nose crank with 4 balance weights and 4.2 rods on either stock or aftermarket pistons?

Yes, but can I do it with just these parts, of course fine tuning for proper compression?

Re: Quick Question. Is it possible?
Depends on how much wear is on the other parts such as timing set, cam and lifters, etc. Also, if you change the cam you may need to change the springs

Re: Quick Question. Is it possible?
The motor has 125k on it. I would do the timing chain while Im in there, but probably nothing else unless it was bad.SilverXJ wrote:Depends on how much wear is on the other parts such as timing set, cam and lifters, etc. Also, if you change the cam you may need to change the springs
