MAP adjust wiring

Post by SkylinesSuck »

Sold my Rock-It MAP adjuster to somebody after I installed my SAFCII and have long since lost the install instructions. I know where the white 12v switched wire goes, but does anybody have a picture or diagram or something of which wires get matched up with what on the MAP sensor wires? The letters are still on the MAP adjuster wiring, and I know which end goes to the sensor and which to the ecu, I just need to know which wire goes with which. Do the colors just match up? Thanks!

What year Jeep? Basically its like this: The MAP sensor has 3 wires. 5 volt input, variable output to PCM and a ground. The wire you want to cut and splice is the wire back to the PCM. If you have a multi meter it will be pretty easy to find. Just probe the wires while the engine is running until you find on that changes with the RPM. As I said, you will find one with a constant 5 volts, one ground, and one that changes.

However, I have a few FSMs so if you post year I could perhaps give you wire colors.

Are you trying to install a standard map adjuster or the SAFCII? I have one in my XJ if you need help.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I need the wiring diagram for the Rock-It MAP adjuster install. I've already got the SAFCII installed on mine. I've also got the wiring diagram for which wire is what on the sensor itself, I just don't know what all the wires are on the MAP adjuster. They have the letters labels on them still BTW (A through F IIRC).
