Some of the more interesting ones:

1936 Ford 5-window coupe w. 327/325 engine, D/D for ten years.
1963 Studebaker Avanti, the original, w. a Paxton R4 supercharged 289 Stude engine. 9 MPG if you're lucky.
A 1965 and 1966 Saab Monte Carlo. 850cc's of rompin' 2-stroke. Used to ice race these things on Lake Champlain back in the day.
1980 CJ all-stainless "owner jeepney" built in the Philippines. My D/D there for about 15 years. 350 chevy, Muncie 4-speed, A/C. Lots of fun to drive.

This thread is extremely disappointing with no pictures

My first car was a 1996 Ford Contour SE. 2.5v6, 5sp manual. Not the coolest car but it was fun to drive. Never really did any modifications to it, other than a system (hey, it was cool back in high school )


My second car was a 1992 Ford Taurus SHO. 3.0 Yamaha HO v6, 5sp manual. No mods to speak of on this car either. Body was kinda rough but man was it fast for a car it's size.


The third vehicle is my ZJ.

Got my license in '91

1) jeep comanche sport 4.0 5spd 2wd white with spiffy black/red sportruck stripe and nothing else....At all. Never even saw one till I visited my grandpa at his "new" job as a jeep salesman Took it for a test drive and ,after chirping 2nd & 3rd gears without trying-had to have it It got all the high school stuff: tint custom rims, flowmaster,stereo. took it to the track and 1st time out ran a 17something but............spanked a '69 327 camaro (schoolmates car) so WOO HOO!! (yes the 327 was sick but a win is a win) after that spent lot of time street racing it,adding a centerforce clutch and some HUGE 14" pro tracs. they were so fat people would use them as a seat eventually got it down to 15.2's.was thee 2nd most fun vehicle i've had. traded it for-
2)'95 corsica 3.1 -for the wife (at the time) not a bad car..... loved to squall the tires
3)'86 buick century- i got when she got #2 car was a tank though got rearended by a 90's camaro and tagged the rear of a suburban that turned left on red,sold and it was finally killed by a tornado
4)'97 t-bird v8 -traded corsica for it . very nice, handled GREAT!
5)'87 comanche eliminator 4.0 5spd 2wd short bed.fixed up,temporarily traded to x-inlaws. got it back, after the bro in law & friends trashed it
6)'98 olds intrique 3.8 fabulous car! took it to a local scca day and ran same time as a late 80s vette traded t-bird for it
7) 89 gran marquie 5.0 - other 1/2 of inlaw trade
8)99(?) 300 m VERY nice car comfortable, good mileage, scooted-lost to ex
9)'94 xj 4.0 5spd 2wd 4dr dd for a few yrs, now a long term project -ladder bars,8.8 rear,hurst shifter, cf clutch, adj frt shocks, skinny frt drag wheels/tires, most fun vehicle i've had(probibly has to do with the wheelies),currently empty of running gear

11)'87mj 4.0 aw4 2wd sb d44 drove by when working,frt was covered by a tarp,saw the tailgate,and HAD to check. last owner t-boned a car and wasn't up to fixing it- had body work, but still needed a rad.have been working on this between dd status.current 4.0 rebuild

1984 pontiac T-1000 2 dr standard Title problems led to scrapping the car
1982 dodge aries 2 dr auto gravel put me sideways into a pole, scrfapped it
1994 buick century auto 3.1 with minor mods. First ticket 117mph in a 15. killed by rust, scrapped it
1985 chevy full size auto truck 305 4wd with offroad package, won in a bet, gave back to a friend
1991 honda accord CB7 auto Not really fast but light handled nice compared to the buick couldnt repair previous issues, scrapped it
2006 toyota camry auto 3.3 vvti like 250 hp left with the GF
1985 caprice 4 dr auto sold for profit to someone who 'donked' it
2005 toyota prius cvt was actually happy when I ran it off a cliff
1991 mitsu galant vr4 5 speed first actual fast car. awd 1630/2000 still in the garage
1990 jeep cherokee 4 dr auto awesome jeep, got towed and the bill was higher than the value of the jeep
2006 kia spectra 4 dr auto nice little car, also left with GF
2001 pontiac grand prix 2 dr auto belonged to roomate, it was ghey
1989 mitsu mirage turbo 2 dr 5 speed another rare mitsu even faster in a straight line than the vr4. 1500 lbs 400 hp sold to a friend
1996 pontiac grand prix 2 dr auto cheap got me around and then scrapped it
1991 mitsu galant vr4 w sunroof another vr4 1890/2000 still here
1994 mitsu eclipse 2 dr 5 speed got on trade, blew head, scrapped it
1997 jeep cherokee 2 dr auto best jeep ive been in. then just blew a rod through the block


I might be forgetting one or 2 but I just turned 22 and didnt get my license until 18 so all these in 4 yrs. Its a pretty hard record to beat.

I'm 26.
My first car was an 01 Hyundai Tiburon-It was awesome when I got it, but after the third wreck, I decided to try something a little higher off the ground and easier to see out of.
I "Upgraded" to a 99 Lexus RX300- Bought with a perfect body & without an engine, it became a long and expensive project for my dad and I before I left for college.
I temporarily moved into an 05 Honda Civic for about a year, and then BACK into the Lexus (tried to kill the damn thing, but it came back-- zombie car.)
I finally got rid of the zombie; I'm sure it's probably still living as an organ donor in various places around the South East.
I moved home to take over the family hardware store after I graduated, kind of a waste of a degree, but, you gotta do what you gotta do & the whole lemonade thing. I'm happy with a cooshy job, that's all that really matters.
I inherited 2 1997 Ford Ranger delivery trucks with the business, that are still rollin after a ton of abuse.
I'm now in an 07 Wrangler Sahara--trying to make it awesome so I never have to leave it. THIS is the reasons I joined the forum, to help me plan and make my Jeep better.
I still have the Civic. It's a great little spare car.
My fiancée has a 350Z convertable; very fun car to drive, pain in the butt to ride shotgun in.
