block

Post by jeep_rider01 »

I have recently been given two 4.0 engines and want to build strokers out of them which i was told could easily be done by using 4.2 parts. My first question is do i need to bore out the block any to use the 4.2 pistons and what do i need to do to the pistons to make them work? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Please read the FAQ on this site... you will find alot of answers there.

The only 4.2 parts you will use will be the crankshaft and the connecting rods... not the pistons. You will use 4.0 pistons.
If it feels right, then STROKE it!
