No intercooler? How much boost are you planning on running?

p.s. props to you- I absolutely love turbochargers, have owned several vehicles that I installed aftermarket turbos on, and there is just no equal.

That being said, if you´re going to run any legitimate amount of boost, I fear you will have problems with your IATs without an intercooler, unless it is cold where you live. It would never work in summer in Maryland, though.

Thanks a lot Doublins for your comment >>>>>>>>>>
Unfortunately I don't buy intercooler until now and I will buy one soon, I running on dyno 332WHP and 385TQ with only 8 PSI of boost. :rockout:
Now summer is begin and my ghost :hrhr: sleep until the summer is finished because the weather is too much hot

My plan to make stroker at less 4.8L and increase more boost around 20 PSI

If you use a bored throttle body and 99+ intake manifold you would see more HP/TQ at same boost.

An intercooler is still a good part to have, but you could lower your air temps with using an water/meth kit in the mean time. I'd suggest running 100% water for now until you boost higher and need the added fuel (meth).

i think you should definitely have this(water&methanol)
i'm running 50/50 mix, its gives you an intercooler effect, raises the octan level to about 110-116 (according to what the snow performance and aem says), eliminating detonation, and your get a much bigger tuning window without damagin the engine

I know that when bored throttle body and 99+ intake manifold you would see more HP and TQ but I fear for engine damage, :brickwall: because I don't have intercooler

you need the C-16 is for high intake temps not the Q-16 ,i think the Q16 is highly oxygenated to gain more power. not good for you

Yes it will be more power but with less boost and with less boost-less heat with no intercooler. Safer.
