i put a new remote mount oil filter setup in my jeep the other day and i pulled the housing off the block to take a look at it. i noticed a LOT of casting lines and sharpe edges. i decided to wipe out the old die grinder and have at it. with very loose bearings i still noticed an increase in pressure 3-5 pounds hot and it was free. just thought that someone could use the info.
i will try to snag one out of the junk yard in the next week or so to take before and after pics.

I don't see how removing material is going to increase PSI?
