Mopar performance valve springs $6.99

Post by dwg86 »

You used to be able to buy the mopar performance valve springs online at advanceautoparts.com. This is no longer avaiable. But I when to Oreilly auto parts web site http://shop.oreillyauto.com/Default.aspx and put in the part number P5249464 in the search. I came up with this http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductDeta ... r=P5249464. This looks like the old parts america web site. It has the MP springs for $6.99.

I dont think these springs are available for $6.99 a piece anymore. Jegs has them for $16.99 & Summit has them for $10.99. Anyone have any idea's on where to get them for less? Orielly's took over the Parts America website and they said they cannot get them anymore.

Summit and Jegs have price matching. I got mine through Jegs. They wanted to know the web site. They checked the price and sold them to me for $6.99 a piece.

Well I tried to order them through Jegs, however they refused to price match @ $6.99 because it was far below their cost.

So much for Jegs price match guarantee. Try Summit.

This will work, i placed an order thru Summit this morning and they did match O'Reilly's price. You have to place the order over the phone if you want them to match prices. As of right now, Summit is only showing 7 springs in stock online, with an expected ship date of 5/16 for back ordered springs.

I placed my order over the phone with Jegs, they declined the price match... I'm just going to run my factory 94 cam, I want this thing done this weekend.

Sorry, i wasn't clear or pulled too much into what i quoted. I wasn't referring to Jegs, i was only saying price matching would work for Summit. And wanted to give everyone a heads up that they are basically out of stock for a week.

Out of curiosity, whats the problem with just ordering these from Orielly instead of going thru the trouble of price matching?

The Parts America website is the old Murrays/CSK website, the Oriellys.com website doesn't list them. Last time i was in a old Murarys (now an Oriellys) i asked the manager and he told me that if they weren't listed on the "real" Oriellys website they were no longer available.
