Rugged Ridge header 00-06

Anyone use the 00-06 rugged ridge header? How do you like it? How about a reccomended headers...bolora, rugged ridge. pace setter etc.

I run that header. So far so good. Sounds good and adds some low end grunt...
Doesn't have the warranty some do but I think I payed $200 for mine frow Quadratec.

Yes, but I have the Alabama Cyl head that has the 0331 small exhaust ports. If you are using the older 0630 or others it won't line up so well. Other then that it fit great. Mounted right up flush with the pre-cats that I hate so much :roll:

Yes I am using a 7120 head on my 2003 Wrangler. I've been told the 0331 header will work on the 7120/0630 head because the 0331header tubes are big and will cover the 7120/0630 ports. I wish I knew someone who has done this to confirm. Anyone? :huh:

It will work. Here are some pics of the header with the 0630 gskt (composite) and the 0331(MLS)
It seemed to me that the 0331 was just a better fit. The ports on the header are smaller and the 7120 head will have ports bigger then the header, creating an abstruction in flow.

I don't want to be a pain, but do you know what size the tubes are? Maybe a different manufacturer has a larger primary.

Roughly 1.5" OD and 1.25" ID.
