I can can get a master rebuild kit for $500 & it comes with pistons. Was just a thought & at 80k I figured all new would be better. My concern on the header was my manifold being a 2 piece & the header a single. I do have the O2 sensors, but was thinking of removing the cat......ops did I say that.

Maybe its me but if a couple bolt bosses for something like coil packs throws a monkey wrench into the works and takes everything to a grinding halt, then you're not being very creative...

In my mind changing between a 0331 and any other HO head in either direction (old to newer or newer to older) is a simple basic bolt on operation with a few minor adjustments (like coil rail mounting). I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Well It's about not having to hear the wife, so a stock 0331 head it is. The machince shop doing the head now and the #6 was scared so it's gotta get a .020 bore. I ordered my master rebuild kit from Titan . Theses are the 3 cam opions I have.............. .460/.476 lift 206/212 @ .050, .447/.447 lift [email protected] or a .420/.420 [email protected] . Chuck is setting me up with a High Torque kit, but not sure as to which cam would be best? Any Opions? And now to start getting the rest of the parts, connecting rods, Crank, header etc.
