Jeep Strokers

I can't see any arrows on my main caps, so how can I figure out which direction they go? And second question is I have Scat connectiong rods they have a dot on one side does that side face to the front?

This is on a 98 XJ 4.6 stroker build.

I can answer the 1st Q: the connecting rods have a slot where the bearing goes, and the bearing has a notch that goes into that slot. The cap also has the slot. Line the caps up so the slot is on the same side as the slot. This applies to both Main and Rod bearings.
