First Build problems

Brand new member, long time reader, looking for any advice people can offer.
Amateur first time engine builder also. Sorry If I overload this with info , if theres anything I missed let me know.
Trying to build a 4.6L low C.R stroker, preferably running 87-90 oct. pump gas, mostly street and some 4 wheeling. Im having trouble selecting a cam shaft. Heres what I have for parts so far:
- 87-90 4.0 block .030 over, “skimmed” flat
- 7120 head, decked, 3 angle valve job, etc
- 99+ intake gasket matched + 62mm throttle body
Cleggs stage one 8.8 C.R stroker kit:
- Eagle Crankshaft 3.895” stroke.
- KB424C030 Hypereutectic -27.5cc*
- “Remaned” factory 4.0 rods
- Hastings moly rings
- King rod bearings
- Clevite main bearings
I would like to stick with these components
Heres where I have concerns:
- Comp Cams 68-232-4 Cam
(206 int./212 exh. dur. @ .050”, 0.460 int./0.476 exh. Lift) CWC casting
- Comp cams 822-12 Lifters
- Comp cams 3219 “Hi energy” timing set
Springs to go along with Cam choice:
- Mopar performance valve springs P5249464
- Mopar retainers P4452032
- Mopar keepers P4529218
Purchased these parts new off marketplace for cheep.
Not sure if the cam and lifters are what I want to use anymore.
Ive heard many horror stories about Comps quality and have had local machinists recommending to look elsewhere for cam and lifters. Im sure everyone’s aware of common issues with collapsed lifters, wiped lobes etc.
Also I’m not even sure if this cam is a good grind for what Im building TBH.
Should I look for a custom ground cam?, would a stock cam do ok? Is a mopar cam an option? Am I worrying too much? Probably…
If anyone could throw out ideal cam specs for this set up it would be hugely appreciated.
Ive also seen Russ mention that the -27.5 dish on these KB’s is too much? Although I believe he was talking about a 4.0 not a 4.6 stroker.
I’ll find our comb. Cham. Vol. and deck clearance later for the stroker calc, as of now using default numbers I get 8.61
With .051” H.G (A bit low) or 8.81 with .041” H.G (better), not accounting for material taken off the head and block surfaces (shouldn't be much)
