Hello, I am choosing my cam bearings. Is it worth installing the Dura bond n-7b instead of the n-7? I have a 1997 TJ 4.0l that is being modified to 4.6l The n-7b, the oil hole is installed at what hour?
I know that the normal is 2 hours.

Either bearing will work, but you are correct. It’s important to install the oil feed hole at the 2 o’clock position standing in front of your engine. As the engine turning in a clockwise rotation you’re feeding the oil inlet hole to the camshaft journal just a head of its greatest load being the 6 o’clock position.

thanks, so why does the n-7b exist if the 4.0L factory has the oil hole at 2 o'clock? I don't understand the use of having a special bearing to change the orientation
