Just wanted to let everyone know, I emailed Moroso last night to see when they would have the 4.0 oil pan back in stock. I received a response this morning, it looks like they are only going to do a production run of 20 oil pans and if you want one you need to pre-order on Summit. The expected ship date is 9/7/2022. It wasn't entirely clear if there would be any further runs down the road or not, but I doubt this is a high volume seller.

Any idea what the biggest benefits are? The ~7+ qt capacity would probably help keep engine temps a bit lower, and the multi-baffle design would help in off-camber situations offroad.

$500????

Buy a complete mig welding setup for less than that and fab your own pan.

Agreed.

I could think of 500 other things I could spend that money on.

Looks like they made some changes to the driver side kick out from what I can see.
Its been a few years but on their original pan I remember I had some driveshaft clearance issues and I had to modify the sump in order to make it work.

I have quite a few 4600 KOH customers running stock pans.
Just sayin.

Couldn't agree more.
Just buy a good used junkyard oil pan, add a baffle at the rear, and add a small kick out on the passenger side (not too big or it'll interfere with the starter). You could then keep your original oil pan as a spare.
