53010327AB. So it looks like a 2000 TJ motor and matching ECU. Good deal, thank you for that info. Will the ECU still work with my older AX15 if I get it a speed signal?..

So wanted to follow up. Finally had some time this weekend to work on the Jeep. Hooked up the square wave mechanical to electrical speedo adapter I got for my Glowshift speedo gauge (not yet installed). Got the pin out drawings and found the wire for the speed sensor signal……and it works!!!! Problem solved! Appreciate everyone’s help and input.

It would have been easier if the PO had used a harness out of a 2000TJ, but for some reason he installed a Cherokee harness…..just made it wonky combining the TJ ECM pin out drawings to the Cherokee wiring diagrams lol.

Appreciate the feedback that forced me to pause and investigate what I really had for an ECM….that was definitely beneficial!
