odometer reset

Long story short: I've stripped and restored a 98 TJ after it submarined during Katrina in Mississippi. That's what brought about the idea to Stroke it! I'm nearly finished with the restore and purchased an instrument cluster from a junkyard. With all that said, is there some way I can reset the odometer to "0". God only knows what number is going to pop up when I hit it with power and I can do without having to do the math every time I look at the odo. I know the quick fix is to buy a brand new cluster but I'm not interested in the prices for that at the dealership!!! So, any ideas???

Dealer. I'm not sure if they need some proof of mileage or not though.

I'll give 'em a call. I can show enough pictures to prove that it's on the level. Besides, the parts department knows all about the Jeep.

If you have a dealer that knows you then you should have no problem.
