Comp will make that cam on a 114° LSA that will help produce better manifold vacuum. Add A2011 Johnson Hylift lifters and your good to go.

Don’t hesitate to hit me up. In stock and ready to ship.

Russ, do you have a line on custom grind 99-06 core camshafts? I finally got a double roller timing set for the thrust plate camshaft yet I can't get ahold of anyone at Comp.

Randy,
I do have late model thrust plate style cams.

I’ve been trying to convince Rollmaster to make a double roller for the thrust plate cam for years.
Did somebody finally step up to the (thrust) ; ) plate and start making one?

Yes sir. https://titanengines.com/engine-parts/d ... ear-99-06/

It blew my mind as well. I have emailed just about every company that is in anyway involved in timing gears. I assume that it's Sean at "Titan Engines" who is the one who "thrust" himself into the action. But obviously Sean is not responsible for manufacturing automotive gear sets.

The gears are made at SA Gear in Bedford Park, IL. SA Gear looks like a decent size manufacturing facility that is specific to engine timing gears. I think we should all send them an email, thanking them.

Now we just need someone to start making machined flexplates that won't shatter over 300 ft# of torque.

I also need a late model core camshaft to go with this roller timing set. Russ, I'll send you an email. Custom grind, .328" lobe lift on both Exhaust and Intake (.525" Valve lift)(1.6 Rockers) 222 Intake Duration @ .050", 228 Exhaust Duration @ .050", 115 LSA

I know this thread is over a year old, but just so everybody knows that SA Gear just recently stepped up to the plate and is manufacturing late model thrust plate billet gear double roller timing sets with the good upgraded Rolon chain in stock ready to ship.

Merry Christmas to all!
