With the engine out, I'll replace the appropriate clutch components. Without spending a fortune, is there a heavy duty clutch disk and pressure plate kit that will withstand the increased hp and tq of the 4.6?
Already resurfaced my 4.2 flywheel.

Re: new clutch recommendation for new 4.6 stroker
OE Sachs or Luk RepSet might do the job just fine. I've been running the same CenterForce Stg II clutch for ~90K miles in my stroked XJ and it has performed wonderfully. Factory-level pedal pressure that doesn't over stress the hydraulic slave at lower revs, but noticeably more firm at higher-rev shifts. I daily drive my stroker in all climates and scenarios and i still enjoy this clutch. Still holds plenty strong to lay down a set of dual black marks, if you get the wild urge, and smooth enough engagement to be easy off of lights or navigating parking lots or technical wheeling in the hills with no chatter. It was, and still is extra pricey. I was worried i had over spent on this clutch way back when i 1st build my stroker, but as the miles have piled-on and i've done other mods to make even more power over the years, this clutch is still holding up. Just my 2-cents.
