weighing a jeep

Post by len1xj »

I just got though putting my 4.6 stroker in my xj, and it runs grate (thanks Russ :D ).
the body is highly modified with all the armor , bumpers and the like, now it rides like shit, like a rocking horse.
so now I have to weigh the jeep to dial in the ride. does anyone know of a place I can go to get this done? I need the weight on each each tire.
once I get this part of the build, Then this jeep will be a dream come true.

Do you know anybody at a sand and gravel, or landscape supply? A dump or a junkyard? It may not be perfect but it should give you an idea... Even if you dont know them ask to come right before they close throw the scsle master a couple bucks, they'll probably do it for you.

I borrowed race scales from a friend who is a circle track racer. My 94 Sahara was 3750 lbs with 50% front/rear distribution.
