First up of this has been covered can you delete and send me to the right topic!
So I’m looking at building a stroker for more torque as I want to tow and tour here in Australia also want it to be super reliable, so the best build I have come across for this is on dinos page the low compression crawler build, any advice?
I don’t need a high revving motor so looking to get the max torque as low in the rev range as possible

G'day. What grade of fuel are you using Down Under?
My 4.6 low compression recipe is specifically for 87 US octane but you could replicate the more popular 4.6 low buck recipe which still produces gobs of low rev torque.

Where can I find aftermarket cams for my 1999 4.7v8 jeep grand Cherokee.

If you can find one, or have one made, try to find a "long tube" exhaust header. The longer primaries and longer merges vs the "shorty" headers should help maximize your low RPM power.

I would respectfully suggest you start your own thread rather than jumping on somebody else’s with a off-topic question.

Thanks mate, I’m mostly using 95 octane though I know when traveling remotely we don’t have options so though the journey it may have to run some lower octane fuel like 91.
Also I’ll definitely look into the headers thank you

The 95 RON octane you're using is equivalent to 91 US octane, and 91 RON is equivalent to 87 US. The 4.6 low buck recipe would be fine for you but with the CompCams 163-201-5 cam as it's designed for the '99+ 4.0 block and is also compatible with the stock valve springs.

Perfect sounds good, I’ll definitely be reading more and starting to collect parts for this build
