New Leaf Springs

Post by optmaxx »

I've been changing OEM suspensions parts and bushings and have been happy with the ride improvements so far, and keeping it OEM as well. I've noticed that my leafs springs, which are probably 31 years old, will need to be changed cause you can tell that one side in the front is lower than the other, and plus they're 30+ years old haha.

So I've noticed that Old Man Emu seems to be popular, but I also ran into the Superlift Super ride 1.5" lift bundle for $381, and it includes all 4 leaf springs, bushings and clamps...but will I have to do a SYE (slip yoke eliminator) for this kit or the Old Man Emu CS014F, CS036R 2.5" leafs? I want to avoid doing a SYE or any other suspension mods cause the suspension parts and bushings I've changed are still new, and which one will give a better ride improvement between the two? Unless it doesn't matter and either one will improve my ride the same.
