I am going to replace my 1997 Wrangler TJ 4.0l intake manifold with a new 1999+ model. I don't have air conditioning I do have Power Steering. What do I need to make the 1999+ intake manifold work with my engine?

Thanks

It should be a bolt on procedure for you apart from rerouting or extending a couple of vacuum lines. Even your PS pump & mounting bracket should bolt straight onto the front of the newer manifold

Cheromanic, thank you for the response. Do you or anyone else have a picture of how the PS Pump and Mounting Bracket attach to the intake manifold? No one person can be expected to know all the details of every 4.0L engine and attachments. A supplier of strokers and stroker parts said that I need a different bracket when switching to the newer (1999+) intake manifold and I have not been able to find a clear picture of the PS Pump and how it is mounted.

I have the factory service manual for the 1997 so if there is a part number for the 1999 I can compare the two?

It should mount right up. I am better versed in the XJ series but it should cross over per year. The 95 and down uses a seperate bracket for the PS. Look up intake manifold differences for 95, 96 (xj) and 99. Observe the 3 bolt mounting surface on the 96 and 99.
