Re: Over heating. Help!! Solved!

Long overdue follow up. I moved my engine a little to far forward to use mechanical fans and besides, I had planned to use electric fans instead. Jeep would idle all day in 110 degree weather up steep climbs, but as soon as I tried to pull a good hill on the freeway, I would over heat quickly. I tried EVERYTHING! Hiflow water pump. 4 different radiators, expensive fans completely shrouded, unshrouded, partially shrouded, louvers in the hood, wetting agents, etc.

Finally, rewelded engine mounts and reinstalled mechanical fan. Never overheated again.
