What head to use on a 2000 4.0 stroker block. 7120 or 0331 Tupy?

I have a built stroker but in need of a head.
The stroker build is a block (Cast # 5301449 ) from a 2000 Jeep 4.0 XJ Cherokee.
The crank and rods are from a 1988 4.2 and is bored .30 over.

I have access to a 1994 4.0 7120 head but not sure if it will work on the 2000 block.
I believe the stock head was a 0331.

Will the 7120 head work or do I need to find a Tupy 0331?

Also if I have the head rebuilt, should I use the heavy duty Mopar springs or stock?
What year intake would work best for my configuration?

Thx

The 7120 head will work fine (I also used the same head on a 2000 block) but you'll need to add an aftermarket header, and you'll need to fabricate mounting brackets for the coil packs.
The choice of valve springs will depend on which cam you use.
Your existing 2000 intake manifold will do fine. Just port match it to the head and lightly trim back the injector bosses to minimize restriction to airflow.
