oil filter without bypass for break in

by pass less oil filter for break in sessions? any guys run one? or do you just let the motor self clearance till you have less than 60psi oil pressure.?

no, no I have not, I understand they can't withstand 150psi but they should be fine at 80psi. I just want to filter the oil while I break in the motor not feed the motor unfiltered oil that could potentially carry particulate into the bearings.

I would be more worried about wiping a cam lobe than your oil filter, there have been probably 100 million engines broke in in the last 20 years with standard oil filters, If your engine is built right, it will not be a problem. Now for your cam problems you may encounter...
