Re: bored out throttlebody?
Thanks everyone, I did smooth them out but I didn't bevel them to the extent of the pictures. I'll pull it this weekend and see what happens. Once again thanks!!

Re: bored out throttlebody?
Be sure to let us know if that fixes it. I'm battling a similar whistle out of my 62 mm bored TB. I very lightly touched up the sharp edges with my dremmel, but didn't take off anywhere near the amount from the write-up. I still have the whistle, so I'm looking for a solution...

That did indeed fix it. I didn't go deep enough the first time and it still whistled slightly. Took it back off and went deeper and the whistle is completely gone now!

Good man. I get a failing grade and you get rid of the whistle.

Just an FYI on this thread:
If you bore to 60mm there is no need for a new flutterby....... Works fine on mine.

Re: bored out throttlebody?
Beveling the port eliminated my whistle too. Thanks for posting the writeup! I ended up beveling the top port above the butterfly a little bit too b/c I blew compressed air over it to clean off any metal flakes and got a slight whistle.
