Hi everyone, I'm getting ready to build my first stroker. Been watching this forum for years just now getting on it. Here is my build plan just wanting opinions on what everyone thinks. 96 4.0 block .030 over Scat stroker crank scat 4030 forged rods 6.125 icon 4032 forged pistons 27.5 dish. Zero deck height Mopar 229 cam. Mopar p4529215 springs 505 adjustable roller rockers. Ported head with 2" intake and 1.55 exhaust valves My static comp is 9 and my dynamic is 7.87 with .050 quench height. Then later adding edelbrock head with m90 kit with the change in head cc my static goes to 9.26 and 8.07 dynamic. This will be pullied for around 10psi boost. Hoping the aluminum head can help with pinging and heat desepation. Some questions I have with zero deck and adjustible rockers stock push rod length should work fine? What's the difference between the mopar 229ac and 229ad cam? Will my valve spring choice work with that cam even though springs show good for .430 and cam is .440 but see a lot of ppl run it like that?
