stroker assembly question

Guys would like a answer if someone has got one. Putting stroker together today and am concerned about clearance between
crank thrust bearing flange and the back side of Cloyes true roller timing chain. Have about .006 right now but am afraid
when I put harmonic balancer on it will push the lower sproket back and chain will rub on bearing flange.
Does anyone shim lower sproket out or just let it run true with chain.

Are you saying that your crank thrust bearing is at the front crank bearing location?

The thrust bearing is located on #3 main assembly. The cloyes double roller chain drive sprocket has a boss machined on the back of it that will fit right up against the side of #1 main journal, leaving more then enough clearance for the chain to rotate passed all of it
