Hi i live in Colorado, where i am currently at around 5900 feet. I've been throwing around the idea of a 4.5L or 4.6L stroker kit. I do alot of wheeling along with highway and city driving. So for money purpose i need a low cost build, that runs on 87 octane. I have .030 bored over pistons all aluminun piston heads i got for free from a friend. I read that using alot of the 4.2L engine parts i can build a low cost stroker for my 2005 rubicon.

So my question is i guess, what exactley do i need for this build?

I too, live at high altitude(almost 7000 feet) Personally, with the altitude that you live, you could build the simple stroker with out any problem running on 87 to 89 octane..........

are you saying that you have a alu head to put on it or just that the piston are alu??????

Do you know what Brand of piston?????

Here is a Grate spot to get you feet wet, so too speak,.......in the FAQ sec. viewforum.php?f=27
