Jeep Strokers

So I have a 1992 jeep with the H.O 4.0. After the engine failed I decided to build a stroker. But I have no idea where to start. Whether to make it a 4.6 or a 4.8, etc. Any tips? I have a $2000 budget

If you're done with the engine build, maybe you'd like to upgrade the suspension.
