Your logic is correct Jim, but many people would rather have the appropriately-sized improved 4-hole design injectors instead of spending an eye-watering $179 on a Hesco adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Delta cam has decent option for a cam. Regrind and lifters are dirt cheap, and the cam retaining plate is still used.
