wj block into xj.

ive done a good amount of research. my situation is that i have a 2001 wj rebuilt engine that i need to put into a 2000 xj.
can it be done, i hear it needs a good amount of modification. so, what are the modifications? it appears that that the wj has the bosses needed, but they aren't tapped. is it possible to tap these bosses on the wj and install all the accessories and motor mounts from the xj onto the wj block, then drop it in??
i got the engine, i got the jeep, i gotta get the 2 together. any input would be greatly appreciated. all i am finding is the same answer.
xj/zj swap wj/tj swap. the 4.0 went through a clean slate new block with the wj/tj. cant be done without significant modification.
nobody says what the modifications are. other than get brown dog motor mounts. and that is hardly the complete answer.
