If pushrods are too long can they destroy all the lifters very quickly ?

Hmmm... Now the bonus question ! Do stock lifters oem have more tolerance or travel compared to a sealed power lifter ?

improperly installed springs, springs not matched to the cam and rockers, will too.

Too long of a pushrod or spring bind can bottom a lifter out.. I don't know about damaging the lifter itself, but it can bend pushrods and other valve components.
