DIY gaskets

Just wanted to share some knowledge here. Pond liner is a wonderful thing. Roughly $1 a square foot.
Advantages
Cut basic gaskets easily
Flexible rubber
Reusable
Seals better than paper gaskets
Resistant to heat, gas,oil,antifreeze
Cheap
Other uses
Winter floor mats
Attach to to rockers to prevent rust
And others I'm sure
