Ok for starters I bought all this stuff off a buddy who was hurting for money after being laid off. He had the block bored 30 over a set of silvolite pistons 2229c with the 258 crank and rods. Everything is going a 97 wrangler block and head. I'm wanting to put it together but can't find link that he was supposedly following for this build he started and he can't find the link either. Everything is sitting here waiting to be put together with a stock cam with a .043 head gasket. Does this set up sound right? If this doesn't sound right I also have a set of 4.0 rods here from another motor I've had for a long time. I just don't know what to exactly do cause when it comes to all the terms and numbers I kind of get lost. I'm in all my stuff fairly cheap so I just need help on which way it should go since I don't like having custom stuff made.

Ok so I guess I've changed my mind on not wanting to run what rods and Pistons I have. So I'm looking at the 4.6 low buck build. I already have the crank and rods I don't know what Pistons to run since my motor is already bored 30 over and I will not be having the headed ported so what are your guys thoughts?

Assuming the deck of your block is flat and straight as most are, a set of my moderately priced custom pistons will allow you to run a tight quench utilizing the longer more desirable 4.0 rods with any reverse dome volume to achieve the correct static compression ratio.
